Please note that the following information applies to freshmen who are starting their class teacher degree studies at the Turku campus in Finnish. If you have any further questions about joining Opex, feel free to contact us!
Opex wholeheartedly congratulates you, new student, on your outstanding achievement! The most stressful part is finally over and we are glad to have you here with us.
Now you are a new student at the Faculty of Education and you can become a member of Opex ry student organization. We all welcome you with open arms!

Kickoff adventure
At the kickoff adventure (Alkuseikkailu in finnish), you can get to know your new classmates! Every year, right before orientation week, Opex hosts a fun two-day event for all the starting classroom teacher -students. Although the event lasts for two days, it's not an overnight event: you'll get to sleep in your very own bed and come back energized the next day. The kickoff adventure is all about having fun and getting to know others. The actual program of the event has traditionally been kept a bit of a secret, but no need to waste time on any hearsay about previous years: the kickoff adventure constantly undergoes many fun changes and keeps evolving! You'll learn most about the event by showing up, so hopefully we will see you there. <3
